Cameron Sol

I've been a professional singer since 2011 singing rock, musical theater, pop, country, jazz, and classical on a variety of stages. After earning a BFA in Music Dance Theatre from BYU I performed in regional theaters across the country, including a season at Tuacahn and a US Premier of a Frank Wildhorn musical. After that I travelled the world for 3 years as a Principal singer and Vocal Captain for Norwegian Cruise Lines, and I now perform with several party bands in SLC including an emo punk/metal band. While living and auditioning in New York City I learned the importance of vocal health and the ability to learn new songs quickly. As my passion for vocal technique grew, I decided to study vocal pedagogy with The Institute for Vocal Advancement and am now a Certified Instructor in their organization. I find modern coaching practices far more effective than how I was taught, with them I'm able to achieve results much more quickly with students. I've also learned performance techniques from numerous industry professionals, including Sutton Foster, Frank Wildhorn, Mandy Patinkin, and Audra McDonald.

Vibe Vocal Studio is the culmination of my teaching and performance experience. Building students up to be able to sing whatever they want when they want and have it feel GOOD is my ultimate goal. I specialize in rock and metal screams, performance techniques, and acting.

I currently live in American Fork UT with my amazing life partner, three kitties, and sometimes a puppy. I love constantly listening to a variety of music and especially Metalcore, Post-Hardcore, EDM, Pop, and Lo-Fi. I enjoy going to concerts, eating yummy food, playing music, doing anything in water, and getting to know people.

I look forward to getting to know you : )
