Cameron Smith

I've been a professional singer for 12 years, singing rock, musical theater, pop, jazz, classical and country music on a variety of stages. After earning a BFA in Music Dance Theatre from BYU I performed in regional theaters across the country, including a season at Tuacahn and a US Premier of a Frank Wildhorn musical. Most recently I travelled the world for 3 years as a Principal singer and Vocal Captain for Norwegian Cruise Lines. While living and auditioning in New York City I learned the importance of vocal health and the ability to learn new songs quickly. As my desire to share proper technique grew, I decided to study vocal pedagogy with The Institute for Vocal Advancement, and am now a Certified Instructor in their organization. I find modern coaching practices far more effective than how I was taught, and I usually achieve results quickly with students. I've also learned performance techniques from numerous industry professionals, including Sutton Foster, Frank Wildhorn, Mandy Patinkin, and Audra McDonald.

Vibe Vocal Studio is the culmination of my teaching and performance experience. Teaching healthy vocal technique that applies to any singing genre is my top priority, and I love it! I also specialize in acting, music theory and vocal effects like riffs and rock screams.

I currently live in American Fork UT with my amazing wife, our three kitties, and our puppy. I perform with local bands and enjoy writing, listening to EDM and Metal music, eating yummy food and staying active.

I look forward to getting to know you!
